Announcement: Updated APC Policy
The Indonesian Journal of Educational Management and Leadership (IJEMAL) is pleased to announce an important update to its publication fee policy. This update introduces a revised Article Processing Charge (APC) structure and an optional Fast Review Service for authors who require an expedited editorial and peer review process.
The updated policy has been established to support the continued improvement of IJEMAL's editorial and publication processes, including editorial management, peer review administration, copyediting, layout preparation, digital publication, and the overall maintenance of a high-quality scholarly publishing process.
Updated Article Processing ChargesUnder the updated policy, the applicable APC is as follows:
Article Processing Charges (APC)• International Collaboration: IDR 2,000,000
• English Manuscript without International Collaboration: IDR 3,000,000
• International Authors: USD 150
• Fast Review Service: IDR 1,000,000 (optional) Important Payment Policy No Payment Is Required Before Acceptance
IJEMAL does not charge any submission fee. Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript or during the peer review process. All applicable publication fees, including the APC and Fast Review fee, will be invoiced only after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication.
Editorial Independence and Academic IntegrityIJEMAL remains committed to maintaining editorial independence, transparency, fairness, and academic integrity. The introduction of the Fast Review Service does not alter the journal's academic evaluation standards or peer review procedures.
All manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with publication ethics. Fast Review is a service for expedited processing and is not a mechanism for obtaining preferential editorial decisions.
Effective Date and Transitional Policy New APC Policy Effective: 1 September 2026The updated APC structure and Fast Review Service will apply to manuscripts submitted to IJEMAL on or after 1 September 2026.
Manuscripts that were submitted before 1 September 2026 will remain subject to the previous APC policy that was in effect at the time of submission. The new APC structure and Fast Review Service will not be applied retroactively to these manuscripts.
Authors are encouraged to review the complete Article Processing Charges (APC) and Fast Review Policy pages before submitting a manuscript to IJEMAL.
