Dear Colleagues,

With four successful years (2019 to 2022) of publishing 137 articles which the majority of the authors are Indonesian scholars and receiving 251 citations from various national journals, BOCP is proud to announce its expansion starting with Volume 5. We are now reaching out to authors from abroad, especially from developing countries, with the goal of showcasing the valuable counseling and psychotherapy services being offered in these regions. Despite our initial focus on national researchers and local citations, we acknowledge the need to broaden our scope to reach a wider audience. We understand that our journal may be hindered by our previous weaknesses in international contributions and citations. However, our efforts in 2023 to expand and invite more international authors demonstrate our commitment to elevating the quality and recognition of our journal globally.

Editor in Chief,
Kushendar
