Abstract

Education is the face of a nation, and the curriculum is the spirit of education. The curriculum is the most important aspect of running an education system, which contains many important components. And the material or content (teaching materials) component is the most important component. This means that teaching materials are not only a learning aid, but also the core and spirit of education and learning itself. Therefore, teaching materials must be given greater attention. One way to pay attention to teaching materials is to develop them so that they are always up to date with the times and technological developments. This study attempts to develop Arabic teaching materials for early childhood using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The resulting product was then implemented through two stages (expert validation and feasibility testing). (1). The expert design validation test scored 90%, the language expert validation scored 90%, and the material expert validation scored 92%. (2) The feasibility test also went through two stages (small-scale and large-scale). The small-scale feasibility test scored 90% in the areas of design, 92% in language, and 90% in material. Meanwhile, the large-scale feasibility test scored 92% in the areas of design, 93% in language, and 92% in material. All these figures indicate that the Arabic language textbook for early childhood is highly valid and suitable for use as a learning resource for Arabic language instruction for early childhood in Brati Subdistrict, Grobogan Regency.
