Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membuat Karangan Bunga Papan Melalui Media Video Tutorial Pada Anak Tunarungu
This research is based on observations made in March 2019 while conducting street vendors in SLB N 1 Lima Kaum, Tanah Datar District, this study discusses improving the skills of making board garlands in deaf children using video tutorial media. Learning these skills can improve the ability of students and have the provision to open their own businesses so that life does not depend on parents. The research method used is classroom action research which is divided into two cycles, each cycle divided into four meetings. There are four activities in this implementation, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting.
Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation and tests. The results of the initial ability of RV 36% and RD 33%, after being given action in the first cycle the percentage obtained by students rose to RV 47% and RD 45% after taking action in the second cycle the results obtained by students increased up to RV 77% and RD 76% . The results of teacher observation in the first cycle were 78% and the second cycle were 90%. The conclusion from the results of the study of making a board garland using a video tutorial shows an excellent improvement for students and teachers.
