Supervisi Dan Menejemen Mutu Pendidikan Islam
Abstract
Islamic education plays a strategic role in developing human resources with character, faith, and noble morals. The challenges of social, cultural, and technological developments require Islamic educational institutions to continuously improve the quality of education without abandoning Islamic values. This study aims to comprehensively examine the supervision and quality management of Islamic education and analyze its role and contribution in improving the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, with primary and secondary data sources analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that supervision of Islamic education is implemented as an effort to develop teacher professionalism and improve the quality of learning, although it still faces obstacles in planning and sustainability of its implementation. The implementation of quality management of Islamic education has been implemented through the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs with the principle of continuous improvement, but has not been fully supported by a strong quality culture. The principal has a central role in integrating supervision and quality management through visionary and participatory leadership. Overall, integrated and sustainable supervision and quality management contribute significantly to improving the quality of Islamic education, both from the academic aspect and the formation of character and Islamic values of students.
