Abstract

Educational supervision is a strategic element in educational management aimed at ensuring and improving the quality of learning processes. In the context of Islamic education, supervision is not only oriented toward enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competencies but also toward internalizing Islamic values in instructional practices. This article aims to analyze the design of an Islamic education supervision program based on recent educational policies and scholarly literature published within the last five years. The research employed a library research method by examining peer-reviewed journal articles, official policies from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, and supervision guidelines used in madrasahs. The findings indicate that an effective supervision program must be developed through systematic needs analysis, clearly defined objectives and targets, collaborative supervision strategies, and well-structured instruments and documentation. Planned and sustainable Islamic educational supervision significantly contributes to improving teacher professionalism and learning quality in madrasahs. Therefore, the implementation of a comprehensive supervision program is essential for strengthening quality assurance in Islamic educational institutions.
