Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Nilai Tempat Bilangan Melalui Media Papan Flanel Bagi Siswa Diskalkulia
Abstract
The research began with a preliminary study conducted at SDN 33 Payakumbuh in class IV where one student had the initials RK who experienced problems in recognizing the place value of numbers. Seen when researchers conducted observations in one class where there were 25 students.
This research is Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design. Baseline condition (A1), which is the child's initial ability to recognize the place value before being given treatment. Intervention conditions (B) conditions where children are treated using the media of flannel boards While the baseline (A2) the ability of children after given intervention / treatment. The target behavior in this study is the ability of students to recognize the value of place numbers. Data analysis technique in this research is to use visual and graphical analysis (Visual Analysis Of Graphic Data).
In the baseline condition (A1) to improve the ability to recognize the place value of the number with a mean level of 30.22, in the intervention condition (B) with a mean level of 66.35 and in the baseline condition (A2) with a mean level of 77.78. The results of data analysis in terms of and between conditions have an estimation of direction trends, stability trends, trace data and level changes that indicate an increase in the ability to recognize the value of places using flannel board media that is increasing / positive. The percentage of Overlape data at baseline (A1) 0%, and baseline condition (A2) is 14.28%, therefore the smaller the percentage of overlap, the better the effect of intervention or behavioral change. Thus the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the flannel board media can improve the ability to recognize the value of the number place for students of the fourth grade discalculate at SDN 33 Payakumbuh. The researcher suggests that the teacher should be able to use the media of the flannel board to improve the ability to recognize the value of the number place for students in the dialysis.
