This study aims to analyze the content of field research focusing on the application of the PBL model in physical education (PE) in Indonesia. Although numerous articles have been published on PBL, few have conducted content analyses on this topic. Therefore, this study explores the implementation of PBL in Indonesian physical education using a content analysis approach. The research employed a content analysis design, with the primary data source consisting of articles from SINTA-indexed PE journals. A total of 13 articles published between 2006 and 2023 met the criteria for analysis. The findings highlight significant opportunities for further PBL research in Indonesian PE, particularly using qualitative methods. Notably, there is a lack of studies involving grade 9 or 12 students. Most existing research focuses on learning outcomes, uses a variety of intervention types, and frequently relies on questionnaires and test sheets. Additionally, some quasi-experimental studies were found to use inappropriate data analysis techniques. This review provides critical baseline evidence to guide future research and pedagogical innovation in PE by identifying current gaps and methodological limitations in how PBL is applied and studied in Indonesia.
Fatkhur Rozi, Dasih Ayu Wulansari, Daryanto Daryanto, Muhammad Endra Sukmana, Aulia Maris Syahputri, Siti Nur Syahiirah Hasan, Siti Nur Syafiqah Hasan, Fathurrohman Syahrul Ramadhan, Syarifuddin Zuhri Copyright (c) 2025 Fatkhur Rozi, Dasih Ayu Wulansari, Daryanto Daryanto, Muhammad Endra Sukmana, Aulia Maris Syahputri, Siti Nur Syahiirah Hasan, Siti Nur Syafiqah Hasan, Fathurrohman Syahrul Ramadhan, Syarifuddin Zuhri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1395 Fri, 25 Apr 2025 11:26:12 +0700 Bibliometric Analysis of the Integration of Da'wah Values and Digital Literacy in Formal Islamic Education in Yogyakarta 2020-2024 https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1371
The rapid digital transformation has significantly reshaped education, communication, and religious practices, including the landscape of formal Islamic education. Traditional da’wah methods, such as mosque-based preaching, are increasingly supplanted by digital platforms like social media and podcasts, necessitating innovative approaches to engage Millennials (born 1981-1996) and Generation Z (born 1997-2012). This study maps trends in the integration of da’wah values and digital literacy within Yogyakarta’s Islamic education system from 2020 to 2024 through a bibliometric analysis guided by the PRISMA protocol. From an initial pool of 150 articles retrieved from Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar, 68 were included following rigorous screening and eligibility assessment. Findings indicate a publication surge in 2022, reflecting accelerated post-pandemic digital adoption. TikTok and Instagram emerged as the dominant platforms for digital da’wah (featured in 65% of studies), displacing conventional preaching methods. While many madrasahs have begun integrating digital literacy into curricula, 45% still lack technical implementation guidelines, and only 30% of studies discuss educator training initiatives. Bibliometric mapping highlights strong thematic linkages between “digital da’wah,” “Islamic education transformation,” and “social media,” signalling a pedagogical paradigm shift. However, the scarcity of evaluative studies (only 8%) reveals a critical need for field-based research to assess the effectiveness of these digital strategies. This study offers a systematic literature foundation to inform curriculum design and advocates for collaborative policymaking among educators, scholars, and government bodies to advance digitally responsive Islamic education.
Ardhitya Furqon Wicaksono, Yoga Anjas Pratama, Katty Febriliani Rahayu, Abdul Waris Copyright (c) 2025 Ardhitya Furqon Wicaksono, Yoga Anjas Pratama, Katty Febriliani Rahayu, Abdul Waris https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1371 Wed, 07 May 2025 12:31:43 +0700 Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Academic Literacy among University Students in Indonesia: A Case Study https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1393
The rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in higher education has transformed learning practices, prompting concerns about their influence on students’ critical thinking, originality, and independent engagement with academic materials. This study explores the perceived impact of AI on academic literacy among Indonesian university students, with particular attention to critical thinking, originality, and independent learning. Employing a qualitative approach, the study captures students' experiences and perspectives, revealing that while AI tools such as ChatGPT and Grammarly are perceived to enhance learning efficiency, they may also diminish deeper engagement with academic content and critical thinking processes. Many participants reported a tendency to rely on AI-generated summaries, which they associated with reduced independent analysis and creativity. Nevertheless, the findings suggest that when AI tools are integrated with thoughtful pedagogical strategies, they can support the development of academic literacy within ethical boundaries. The study underscores the importance of implementing AI literacy programs and ethical guidelines to foster responsible and reflective use of AI in academic contexts.
A Fadel Muhammad, Nur Astiana Hidayat Ardi, Nurhaliza Nitswat, Sri Hardianti Nur, Annisa Zhalila Razak, Fatjri Nur Tajuddin, Anzar Aquil, Moch. These characteristics render TikTok particularly influential in shaping adolescents’ perceptions of body image and self-esteem. This study aims to examine the impact of TikTok media exposure on body image and self-esteem among adolescents aged 15 to 18 years. A quantitative method was employed using multivariate linear regression analysis. The sample comprised 172 active TikTok users from Taruna Gajah Mada High School, Metro, Indonesia, with data collected through an online questionnaire. The instruments used included the Media and Technology Usage and Attitudes Scale (MTUAS), the Body Image Scale, and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. The results revealed that TikTok exposure significantly affected body image (F = 98.697; p < 0.001) and self-esteem (F = 110.177; p < 0.001), with a combined explained variance of 31.3%. Exposure to idealized body-related content fosters social comparison, adversely impacting adolescents’ self-image and confidence. This study underscores the importance of digital literacy and psychosocial support in encouraging healthy social media use among adolescents. It concludes that TikTok exposure plays a substantial role in shaping how adolescents perceive their bodies and assess their self-worth, highlighting the media’s influence on self-concept and psychological well-being.
Mita Yunani, Ika Ariyati, Kus Hendar, Faridah Pardi, Emi Puspita Dewi, Nera Leiya Maisuri Copyright (c) 2025 Mita Yunani, Ika Ariyati, Kus Hendar, Faridah Pardi, Emi Puspita Dewi, Nera Leiya Maisuri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1386 Sat, 24 May 2025 09:26:04 +0700 Emotional and Psychological Impacts on Bullying Perpetrators https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1500
This study aims to explore the emotional and psychological impacts experienced by bullying perpetrators and to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the development of such behavior within the context of Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High Schools). Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving perpetrators, guidance and counseling (BK) teachers, and school staff. The findings indicate that bullying perpetrators often experience emotional distress, including feelings of guilt, remorse, and behavioral changes such as social withdrawal following disciplinary actions. Contributing factors to these behaviors include unsupportive parenting styles, poor family communication, and social environmental pressures. Notably, several perpetrators demonstrated a willingness to change after undergoing counseling and engaging in personal reflection. This study underscores the importance of a comprehensive rehabilitative approach that goes beyond punitive measures, emphasizing the need for ongoing emotional and psychological support to effectively address bullying behavior.
Waluyo Widodo, Sugiarto Sugiarto, Kus Hendar, As'ari Latif, Mohamad Ardin Suwandi Copyright (c) 2025 Waluyo Widodo, Sugiarto Sugiarto, Kus Hendar, As'ari Latif, Mohamad Ardin Suwandi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.kurasinstitute.com/index.php/bip/article/view/1500 Sun, 22 Jun 2025 19:49:34 +0700
